HARVEST MINISTRY STRUCTURE
Ministries

Three primary ministries form the basis of what we do and are key to us fulfilling our mission. While we have other program, teaching, and ministry opportunities, our primary ministry happens in these three places:

WEEKLY WORSHIP SERVICE

Each Sunday, Harvest gathers for a time of corporate worship. During this time, we worship through prayer, singing songs and hymns in praise to God, giving of our resources, hearing a message from the Bible, and responding to His Word. Children worship with adults until the sermon time where they are dismissed for Children’s Church -- an age-appropriate worship experience in a nearby room.

ADULT BIBLE STUDIES

Every Sunday morning, teens and adults of all ages meet in small groups to learn the Bible and for mutual encouragement in applying its truths to everyday life. Sunday school for all age children is offered during this time as well.

HOME FELLOWSHIP GROUPS

Home Fellowship Groups meet in various homes in Lake and Porter counties. The groups help cultivate friendships among believers for the purpose of true biblical fellowship, shared ministry, and mutual encouragement and accountability. Home fellowship groups are open to the whole family.

CHILDREN AND YOUTH

In addition to worship and Sunday school, two additional ministries exist to assist parents in the spiritual development of children and teens.

AWANA

Awana combines exciting games, fun activities, basic doctrinal teaching and Scripture memory to lead children to faith in Christ and give them a firm foundation for continued spiritual growth and knowledge. Awana is provided for children from 3yrs old to 6 th grade. For more information about Awana, click here. S.N.A.C. (Sunday Nights at Church)

Harvest Youth Ministries exists to help teens know who they are in Christ; how Jesus desires to, and can use them now; and to equip them for their next stage of life they’re transitioning into. We have 2 weekly outlets for teens. First is a teen in-depth Bible study on Sunday morning at 9:30am. We use various curriculums (such as Student life and Lifeway resources), with the purpose of learning Scripture and how to walk away with real application for their lives. We also have S.N.A.C. on Sunday evening at 5:30pm. S.N.A.C. is more laid back with games and hanging out, but tempered with a devotion and accountability time. Lastly, teens need to be teens, so we do fun and crazy outings such as bowling, camping, progressive dinners, youth trips, and much more.
